Return and Exchange Policy for ornaments.shop

Effective Date: [January 1, 2026]
Scope of Application: This policy applies to all products purchased through the ornaments.shop independent website.

I. Basic Conditions for Return and Exchange

1. Time Limit Requirements

  • Returns or exchanges can be applied for within 30 calendar days from the date of product receipt;
  • For products with non-human-induced quality issues, the time limit for return and exchange is extended to 60 calendar days.

2. Product Condition Requirements

  • Jewelry Products: Must be kept in their original condition, without any signs of wear, scratches, oxidation or deformation on the surface. Tags, certificates, packaging boxes and other accessories must be complete, ensuring no impact on secondary sales; custom-made jewelry (such as engraved items, exclusive sizes) is non-returnable and non-exchangeable except for quality issues.
  • Home Decoration Products: Must be kept intact, without bumps, damage or stains, with original packaging and accessories complete; large ornaments and fragile items must retain the original packaging filling materials for protection during return shipping.

3. Documentation Requirements
To apply for a return or exchange, you need to provide a valid order number and payment voucher, and upload photos/videos of the product issues (such as defects, damage, wrong delivery, etc.) as supporting materials.

II. Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable Cases

1. Products damaged due to improper personal wearing or improper storage (such as jewelry oxidation caused by contact with chemicals, decoration damage from falling);

2. For lost or damaged gifts and accessories (such as silver polishing cloths, jewelry boxes) of jewelry products, the return and exchange of the main product is not affected, but the corresponding cost will be deducted according to the original price;

3. Products that have been opened, used and affect secondary sales (such as opened aromatherapy decorations, oxidized jewelry);

4. Products without order records, mismatched with order information and cannot provide valid purchase vouchers;

5. Products clearly marked as “clearance special offer items” or “defective items” are non-returnable and non-exchangeable except for serious quality issues. Please check the product details page carefully before placing an order.

III. Return and Exchange Process

1. Submit Application
Within the specified time limit, log in to your ornaments.shop account, enter the “My Orders – Apply for Return/Exchange” page, fill in the reason for return or exchange, upload relevant supporting materials and submit the application.

2. Review and Response
We will complete the review within 24 hours and notify you of the review result via in-site message or bound email; upon approval, we will provide the designated return address and exclusive return number. The return number must be indicated on the return package, otherwise the warehousing process will be affected.

3. Return the Product
Please properly pack the product and send it back to the designated address within 7 working days after the application is approved; it is recommended to choose a trackable logistics service. For fragile items (such as glass decorations, metal jewelry), be sure to reinforce the packaging to avoid damage during transportation.

4. Inspection and Processing

  • After the returned product is warehoused, inspection will be completed within 3-5 working days. For eligible returns, the refund will be returned through the original payment channel, and the arrival time shall be subject to the rules of the payment platform;
  • For eligible exchanges, the replacement of the same style and specification will be arranged within 3 working days after the inspection is passed. The logistics information of the new product will be notified to you in a timely manner. If the same style is unavailable, a return can be applied for instead.

IV. Definition of Freight Responsibility

1. Cases Where the Seller Bears the Freight
For returns and exchanges caused by product quality issues (such as jewelry cracks, decoration damage, wrong delivery/missing delivery), you need to prepay the return freight first. After warehousing inspection, contact customer service for reimbursement with the logistics voucher. The reimbursement amount shall be based on the standard first-weight freight between the order delivery address and the return address. Freight collect is not accepted.

2. Cases Where the Buyer Bears the Freight
For returns and exchanges caused by personal preferences, improper size (jewelry sizes are marked on the product details page), unmet expectations and other non-quality issues, the return freight and the shipping cost of the exchanged product shall be borne by the buyer.

3. Special Instructions
The buyer shall be responsible for any damage or loss of the product during return shipping due to improper packaging; if the returned product fails to meet the return and exchange conditions, it will be sent back in its original state, and the round-trip freight shall be borne by the buyer.

V. Special Handling Rules for Specific Products

1. Fragile Decorations: The original packaging and shock-proof filling materials must be retained when returning. If secondary damage is caused by improper packaging, the return and exchange application will not be approved;

2. Precious Metal/Gemstone Jewelry: To verify authenticity or quality issues, an appraisal report issued by an authoritative testing institution must be provided. After verification, the return and exchange can be processed, and the relevant testing costs will be borne by us;

3. Custom-Made Products: Only eligible for return and exchange in case of serious quality issues (such as wrong custom patterns, inconsistent materials with descriptions). Return and exchange applications caused by personal demand changes will not be accepted.

VI. Other Instructions

1. Matters not covered in this policy shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the region where ornaments.shop is located and the region where the order is received;

2. Placing an order on ornaments.shop shall be deemed as your agreement to this return and exchange policy. Any revision to the policy will be posted prominently on the website and will take effect 3 calendar days after the posting;
